Welcome to The Aider. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services, including moving, junk removal, and custom assistance services. By engaging with our services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
Bookings & Confirmation
All bookings are confirmed once the client accepts the provided quote. Changes to bookings must be requested at least 48 hours before the scheduled service time and are subject to availability.
Acceptance of Terms
By requesting or using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.
Payments Terms
Payment is due upon the completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods include e-transfer, debit/credit card, cash. Late payments may incur additional fees.
Cancellation
Cancellations must be made at least 48hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled service will incur a fee of 20% of estimated service price.
Liability
We are insured for all moving services to cover damages during transit. Clients are responsible for ensuring that items are adequately packed unless packing services are requested. We are not liable for damages caused by items improperly packed by the client. Junk removal services are provided as-is, and clients must disclose any hazardous or restricted materials in advance.
Client Responsibilities
Clients must ensure that all pathways are clear for service teams to perform their duties safely. Clients are required to provide accurate information regarding the size, weight, and nature of items for transport or removal.
Custom Services
Custom services are subject to specific agreements and may require additional terms based on the nature of the request.
Privacy and Data Protection
Your personal information is collected and used per our Privacy Policy, which complies with Ontario law. We do not share your information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or cancellations due to events beyond our control, including natural disasters, government actions, or unforeseen circumstances.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the jurisdiction of Ontario.
Amendments
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes.
